1 Mile Open Water Swim

Take on the featured main event of Crown City Open Water Swim with a scenic 1-mile course through beautiful Glorietta Bay. Perfect for experienced swimmers and recreational athletes looking for a rewarding open water challenge with calm waters and incredible Coronado views.

Half Mile Open Water Swim

Perfect for youth swimmers, first-time open water participants, and swimmers building confidence beyond the pool. The ½ Mile Open Water Swim offers a shorter, approachable course through protected bay waters while still delivering the excitement and accomplishment of open water racing.

250m Youth Dash

Designed for young swimmers looking to join the race day fun, the 250m Youth/Kids Sprint Swim provides a safe and exciting introduction to open water swimming. This short course is all about building confidence, encouraging participation, and celebrating the next generation of swimmers.

Coronado Swim Team Elite

For more than 60 years, Coronado Swim Team Elite (CSTE) has helped develop swimmers of all ages and skill levels throughout San Diego County. Focused on athlete development, confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong love of the water, CSTE provides a positive and encouraging environment for both recreational and competitive swimmers.

As the Community Swim Partner of the Crown City Open Water Swim, CSTE helps support and grow the sport of swimming in Southern California while creating opportunities for swimmers to experience open water racing in a safe, scenic, and community-driven setting.
